Hardat Sampat was detained on May 30, 2017 as he was on his way to court, with the hope to clear his name after being accused of a crime. Hardat is the father to three children, a husband, son, brother and uncle. It has been heart-breaking for Hardat’s family to endure daily life without him, not only for the emotional toll that his absence has created but also because he was the main provider for his household and cared for his ailing mother.
